Astronomers use many different types of equipment to see the stars, the heavens, the planets and galaxies. Amateur stargazers can use anything from a simple telescope to a telescope with GoTo (GPS) technology to see the night sky. Stargazers can even use binoculars to look at the heavens, the stars and even comets.
